Design Narrative

What I want to achieve for this non-profit is a design that is simple for any to navigate around in; get the point of what this site wants to achieve; make it more appealing for users and make sure the content has its own places where it wouldn’t have to fight for attention from the other information; also work on the logo and colors. Simple, to the point and clean is what I want to achieve.

When I began designing my home page for the website, the colors I wanted to use were in the site itself. Not all the colors present on the site itself but just three ranging from dark to light. The darkest color I used for he background. Looking at other sites did give me a good idea of how I can make this site look more professional. The idea for the how to make the navigation look came from an unlikely source, but I made it work for the cause of the PALS site. Browsing the end at random times does have it advantage as it gives me better ideas in the direction my design should approach.
